Fr Rubino was born on 12th Feb 1776 at La-morra-in Italy. Fr. Rubino died on 11th February 1853 at Lamorra- Italy . Since then the founder’s day is celebrated on 11th February.
St. Aloysius Senior Secondary School Punnapra was established in the year 1992 on June 1st. It is a minority Catholic institution, owned and managed by Sisters of St. Aloysius.
